During your consultation, your project manager will have asked you if you would like to showcase your manufacturers or suppliers, by adding a manufacturer or supplier 'block'. If this has been setup for you, you'll probably want to assign your products to a manufacturer or supplier.
Doing this is easy. This is helpful if you'd like to showcase a supplier or manufacturer to add credibility to your products which may be helpful in making a sale.
For example, let's say you're selling ipods, you may want to feature 'Apple Computers Incorporated' as the manufacturer, and 'AppleStore' as the supplier.
The first thing to do would be to create the Supplier or manufacturer. Simply click on 'catalogue', and click on the 'manufacturers' or 'suppliers' tab. To create a new manufacturer or supplier, click 'Add New'. This can be as detailed or as simple as you'd like. Probably just the name, and a logo if you have one. When you're done, click 'save'.
The next thing to do,is to link the products with the manufacturer or supplier. Simply go to the product you'd like to link, and select the manufacturer or supplier from the dropdown box.
Your customers can now browse your products by supplier or manufacturer using the supplier or manufacturer block.
